LOS ANGELES - [September 18, 2022]
Hook Holdings has been chosen by Strideline to handle all e-commerce services in a strategic move to streamline business operations and accelerate growth. Internationally renowned and vertically-integrated sock company, Strideline, makes “The Most Comfortable Sock on Earth™.” In 2021, Strideline completed their first formal capital raise to unlock new opportunities for the business and add unique sourcing capabilities. The company recently entered into a business partnership with its long time advisor, procurement expert and supplier, Thomas Moose, who has joined Strideline as president.
As Strideline enters this new chapter, it will be supported in full by Hook Holdings — a first-of-its-kind holding company that features both a fulfillment company and creative agency. Hook Logistics is the end-to-end 3PL handling all e-commerce and retail fulfillment for Strideline, while Diamond Hook is the agency of record running the gamut of Strideline’s marketing efforts.
“We are incredibly excited to work with the high-energy Strideline team. This deal is the first of its kind for Hook Holdings, and we are thrilled to play a key role in helping Strideline scale to even greater heights both creatively and operationally. We are all looking forward to driving value that is mutually beneficial for both Strideline and Hook Holdings as we accomplish new milestones together and explore new horizons,” said Michael Tucker, Co-Founder & CFO of Hook Holdings.
“In investigating the optimal means to run our D2C business, it's rare to find one company that can provide total logistics support as well as the marketing required. I am very happy about this relationship with Hook Logistics. The goals are to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries and to expand the D2C business in the North American market,” said Strideline’s new president, Thomas Moose.
Strideline co-founder Riley Goodman emphasized: “The strategic partnership between Strideline and Hook Holdings, coupled with equity investment from our long-time sourcing partner Thomas Moose, uniquely positions the business for explosive growth. In a rapidly evolving omnichannel retail environment, we now have state-of-the-art production and fulfillment capabilities, a world-class digital marketing team, and the management experience to entirely reinvent the way consumers buy socks."
Strideline’s mission has always been to make “The Most Comfortable Sock on Earth.” Based in Seattle and founded in 2009 by Riley Goodman and Jake Director, the company has compiled years of international research and product development to fine-tune and deliver the best socks in the game. Sock of choice for the NCAA, MLS, NFLPA and MLBPA, Strideline unites quality and unmatched comfort for ultimate performance. Strideline socks are available online and at 5,000+ retail locations across the country including Costco, Target, Dick's Sporting Goods, Fanatics and more.
